The flag of SingaporeOnly nine days after introducing a cloud hosting location in the UK for Cortex and WildFire, we are proud to announce a new cloud hosting location in Singapore for Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and Prisma Cloud. We have listened to our customers’ requests for data residency in their region. Our expanded presence helps enable Singapore-based and other regional customers to protect their digital assets from stealthy threats while also addressing their data sovereignty and privacy needs.

Over the past several months, the COVID-19 pandemic has compelled many security teams to protect a growing remote workforce. Organizations have also accelerated their migration of business applications to the cloud. As a result, we have observed an increased demand from our customers in Asia-Pacific for our Prisma and Cortex security technologies to protect remote endpoints and cloud applications. We are pleased to now be able to provide our customers in Singapore and neighboring countries with a cloud presence in their region.

Cortex XDR, the industry’s first extended detection and response platform, allows our customers to stop sophisticated attacks by integrating endpoint, network and cloud data for enterprise-wide protection. With the addition of our new cloud hosting location, Cortex XDR customers based in Singapore can now meet their data residency needs by storing Cortex XDR data within their geographical borders. In addition, Singapore-based customers can collect, transform and integrate their security data with Cortex Data Lake

Prisma Cloud offers the industry’s most comprehensive Cloud Native Security Platform – for applications, data and the entire cloud native technology stack – throughout the development lifecycle and across multi- and hybrid cloud environments. With Prisma Cloud, organizations gain continuous visibility, security for cloud native applications and compliance assistance across Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
